A joyful welcome event designed especially for our Transitional Kindergarten students. This is your child’s first opportunity to visit campus, meet their teachers, and begin feeling comfortable in their new school environment.
During TK Round-Up, students will explore the classroom, connect with teachers, and ease into the OCASA experience through a warm and supportive introduction.

Red Band Assessments
Welcome to OCASA Elementary!
We are excited to welcome our newest Kindergarten and 1st Grade students joining OCASA for the 2026–2027 school year.
The Red Band Round-Up is a short, student-friendly “Show What You Know” assessment designed to help our teachers get to know each child and create balanced, supportive classrooms for the upcoming school year. This event is for students who are new to OCASA entering Kindergarten or 1st Grade only.
Event Details
Dates: Tuesday, May 19, or Thursday, May 21, 2026
Location: OCASA Campus – Laguna Niguel
Families will reserve one 15-minute time slot per student. During the session, one of our teachers will spend time with your child individually while parents relax nearby on campus outside the office (P14).
Please allow a little extra time for parking on nearby residential streets.
We can’t wait to meet your family, celebrate this exciting milestone, and begin your child’s OCASA journey together.
Please include your student’s name when reserving your time slot.
Students only need to attend one session.
Meet the Teacher Day
A special opportunity for students and families to visit campus before the school year begins and start building meaningful connections.
Students will meet their teacher, see their classroom, and become familiar with their daily environment. Families are welcome to ask questions and feel confident heading into the first day of school.

OCASA’s Parent Organization brings families, teachers, and staff together to build a strong, connected school community at our Laguna Niguel campus.
Through school events, programs, and ongoing communication, families stay informed, get involved, and play an active role in their child’s school experience. It’s a meaningful way to connect with other parents and support the joyful learning environment at OCASA. Volunteer opportunities, participation requirements, and supporting documents will be shared soon, making it easy for families to get involved and contribute in ways that fit their schedule.

Beyond The Stars After School Care Program
Our Beyond the Stars program offers a safe, enriching, and engaging after-school experience for OCASA elementary students. Designed to support working families, students enjoy academic support, creative activities, and play, all in a familiar, on-campus environment.
