STEAM+ Newsletter 11/5

This week the children have been busy in our STEAM+ classes finishing up projects and working together practicing being good listeners and collaborative learners. The students have finished their stop-motion projects in STEM and will begin learning about acoustical engineering. In Theatre Arts the students worked on story maps, theatrical make-up, face sketches and finished up learning about perspective, improvisation, and stock characters in Italian Theatre. In Spanish, our students learned about Día de los Muertos and made beautiful masks. In Visual Arts students rolled marbles to make spider webs, made cute little pinecone turkeys, and began their self-portraits in the style of Tim Burton. We love seeing creativity come alive in our classes.

Warmly,
Señorita Sheila (Spanish)
Miss Cindy (Theater Arts)
Ms. L’amour (Visual Arts)
Mrs. Robertson (STEM)
