Good Classroom Acoustics

Good acoustics improves learning!

There is an active movement to improve the acoustics of classrooms and other learning spaces to improve learning. The movement has broad support throughout the community of acoustical professionals including acoustical consultants, audiologists, hard-of-hearing organizations and noise control engineers. The Acoustical Society of America spearheaded a successful effort to create coalition of acoustical professionals. The coalition is working toward a US national standard for classroom acoustics. It's motto is:

"Let the Word be Heard"
